From there we look at what the space will physically allow, and only then do we start drawing. There is no charge and no obligation to go further.

Yes. Our designers work in CAD and produce photorealistic 3D images of the finished room, so you can judge the proportions, the tile, the vanity and the lighting as a room rather than as a list of products. It is the single best way to avoid the moment three weeks in where somebody says the bath looks bigger than they expected.

Installation is a fully managed service run by our team — the same fitter and tiler on your job from start to finish, working to the design you signed off. Anything that legally needs a registered gas or electrical engineer is brought in from the appropriate registered trade.

Usually — and the answer comes from the survey rather than from optimism. Where the soil stack is, how much fall a waste can get, what the joists are doing and how much floor build-up is available all decide it. Andrew was a plumber and heating engineer long before he was a designer, so that assessment happens on day one, not after the tiles are ordered.

Both. A tight en-suite or a downstairs cloakroom is often the more interesting design problem, because there is no room for a mistake in the layout. Several clients have had us do the main bathroom first and come back for the en-suite afterwards.

We don't publish prices, because a bathroom is not a product with a shelf price — it depends on the room, the layout changes and what you choose to put in it. What we will say is what a customer said in public: we are not the cheapest, and people come to us for the design and the finish rather than for the lowest number. You get a proper figure after the survey and the design, not a guess on the phone.

It depends on the room and on how much of the layout moves. We would rather give you a realistic programme once we have surveyed and designed it than a number here that turns out to be wrong for your house. What we will commit to is the sequence being planned and stuck to rather than invented as we go.
